Our foundational belief is that "the shortest distance between two people is a story" (Muse Storytelling). And well, helping businesses reach customers is all about bridging that distance between people.
Storytelling is essential to human nature, and marketing because "stories clothe truths by not getting in the way of truth. They get around our natural resistance to being sold by not pushing beliefs. Rather, they stimulate and resonate by inviting" (Jim Signorelli).

Joseph Kafka
Founder, Executive Producer, &
Lead Videographer
Curious and tenacious, Joseph Kafka has been crafting stories and producing content for more than ten years.
Joseph is Ojibwa First Nations from Lake Manitoba, and if you're curious, "Little Bird" comes from his last name, Kafka, meaning small bird or a "Jackdaw" in some places.
He began his career as a social worker and has since weaved storytelling and video production together into a unique modality that empowers individuals, inspires communities, and grows businesses.
Jim Hart
Production Coordinator & Story Editor
Jim Hart developed his motion picture talents as a news anchor, reporter, and producer for Canada’s highest-rated regional TV news network (BCTV Vancouver; now GlobalBC).
He is known for his “out-of-the-box” thinking on productions and, after leaving BCTV at 40, he has carried the same approach to his very successful career as a freelance video producer.
Candice Camille
Photographer & Production Assistant
Candice is a first nations photographer based in Kamloops, BC. She is a cow-girl at heart, entrepreneur, and mother of three. Having studied and achieved a Bachelor of Social Work, Candice fell into photography one day while training a horse in the round corral.
The rest is history.”
Fraser Los
Writer
Fraser is a freelance writer and communications specialist based in Canmore, Alberta. Fraser Los has produced a wide range of written works for conservation and Indigenous organizations across the country.
He has received three National Magazine Awards for his feature stories published in several national magazines, including Canadian Geographic, Walrus, Maisonneuve and Canadian Wildlife.
Bhavesh Chauhan
Cinematographer & Videographer
Bhavesh Chauhan is an independent filmmaker, music video director and cinematographer. His career in filmmaking has spanned almost 15 years with humble beginnings making shorts with his friends in high school. Many of his films have gone on to screen and win awards at numerous film festivals around the world.
Some recent productions that feature his work include shorts "Prisoner," "Lovely Mummers," and “A Calling,” a web series pilot with TELUS StoryHive "Lux-Me," a Crazy8s short "Mom vs. Machine, and a feature film "Jewel Fools" which screened at the Calgary International Film Festival.
Brent Flink
Graphic Designer, Copywriter + Marketer
Brent is an experienced marketer and graphic designer specializing in small businesses compete with bigger ones.
Brent helps companies focus their messages on the right things and speak to the right people in the right places. That takes the form of print pieces, packaging, websites, social media or traditional advertising.
